A Bowl of Ice Cream & Some Good Links
We talked a little about how vegetable oils are produced versus how the fats we prefer like butter, coconut oil, and lard are produced. Here’s a little chart to show you the processing of vegetable oils. It isn’t identical for all industrial oils, but it’s similar. By contrast, butter is made by shaking cream and lard is made simply by slowly heating pork fat.
